FAQ

What do I need to know? Don't bore me...

1. You will be faced with 15 riddles. The winner is the person with the highest score & best time. Scoring is managed independently by Riddle.com.

Scoring maths (for the nerds):

- Correct answers = 6

- Time taken (in seconds) = 60.057

- Multiplier = 100

- 6 x (1 + (1 / 60.057) x 100) = 16

- Total Points = 16

2. The competition is open in countries where skill-based competitions are legally permitted. All fees covered (stamp duty etc).

3. Minimum entries required: 300k for house to be awarded. Cash alternative of 200k offered. Deadline to enter is prior to end date unless we decide to extend (only if minimum number of entries are not met).

4. Entry fees are non-refundable as access is granted to the puzzle service upon entry.

5. If minimum entries are not met then winner will be awarded a consolation prize (brand new iPhone 17 Pro Max). Minimum entries for consolation prize: 20k.

Legally, this is not a gamble — this is a skill-based competition. Winners are selected based on the quality and speed of their answers, not by chance.

Religiously, this is not considered gambling in most major religious understandings as there is no chance or randomness involved.

After you click 'Solve Now' and buy your attempts you will be taken to the riddles. Highest scores are recorded on the leaderboard and updated every 24 hours.

When will the winner be announced?

We'll reveal the winner on the night after the competition closes.

A well-kept 1980's family home in a small town in Lincolnshire located on a long, quiet, community-minded road. It offers 3 bedrooms, two living rooms, a dining room, a conservatory, two WCs, fully functioning shower, a garage, an all-electric kitchen, private driveway, and a manageable private garden. Fully serivced, maintained and furnished with nearly-new: TV, fridge, kitchen and dining table. Close to major superstores, a well-run hospital, schools, museums, large grounds, local surgeries/dentists, markets, takeaways, mechanic garages, and fast rail links to London (direct in around 1 hour).
